The Christian Church at Pavon has been blessed with opportunities

to reach out to different parts of the community here in SLP.

La Mission is a community approx. 10 minutes from the Pavon Christian Church, and is a very humble neighborhood with many needs. We have been reaching out to this neighborhood for the past 5 years or so, and have been able to not only distributed many blankets, clothes, toys, and medicine, but also have a spiritual influence through a variety of activities. For example, we have weeklong VBS programs three times a year, a weekly Saturday VBS program for the children, and also Bible Studies on Sundays. Many from La Mission attend church at the Pavon Christian Church each Sunday.

Rancho Nuevo is a community located at the city dump. This is a very poor neighborhood. A family from our church lives there and has opened their home for church activities. Here, we hold VBS programs three times a year along with Saturday VBS activities. The people in this community are somewhat hesitant about receiving the Gospel, but a little at a time they are being more open to receiving the Good News. PTL! We have been reaching out to this neighborhood for the past year.
